Crystal is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of dog training. She gives her full attention and helped my sister and I “pack up” our dogs, ie: get them acquainted and comfortable with each other. She took her time and explained the process really well. She was thorough, professional, kind and efficient. I highly recommend Bmore Zen Dog Training!
Our dog Clover participated in the private training lessons, as well as the boot camp for her anxiety and dog aggression and it totally transformed her behavior. Before the program, she couldn't even walk by another dog without having a meltdown, and now she has a new brother and can board with Crystal and Tricia and their pack without issue. They both are very caring and structured with the dogs, and it's the one place we feel like we can board her and not worry when we go out of town. We always look forward to the Instagram updates and seeing that Clover has made another friend! We are so happy to be able to include Clover in more of our life after the program and will continue to board her here! ❤️

RJ and Crystal are incredible people and wonderful trainers. They both have such a calm assertive energy and knowledge about dog behavior and deal with such a wide range of behaviors and dogs. Our dog went through their 4 week board and train in July and we learned so much through the process. They train and work your dog out in the real world and individualize their program to address your dogs needs and problem areas. By following their homework and instructions after the board and train, we have the best version of our 2 year old aussie/golden mix and the knowledge to keep him successful. They keep you up to date through texts and their Instagram page and the bond they build with your dog is unreal.

AMAZING! I took my 5 year old Australian Sheppard to RJ and Crystal with aggressiveness towards people, out ocontrol barking in the house(territorial), still having accidents in the home, pretty severe car and in public anxiety, and awful dragging during walks. She was enrolled into his 5 week bootcamp which was needed seeing that she has a history of biting people. I feel like I have a whole new dog! She now is crated (and LOVES IT) so she is no longer having accidents in the home. She enjoys going on walks and listens to me. I can take her on car rides and out to public places. She never barks in our home anymore. She is so much more tamed, calm, and has a more structured lifestyle. Not only that, but the trust and bond between us has grown tremendously as well. The support and reliability RJ and Crystal offer is unmatched. I would absolutely recommend RJ to anyone who needs a smoother lifestyle with their dogs. Whether they are 8 months or 5 years of age. He has something to offer for all ages & types! I am so grateful I found RJ and can not thank him and Crystal enough for the behavioral progress in Luna!

Our family is so grateful to RJ (and Crystal) for the entire experience they provided (and continue to provide) with our awesome (Alfa dog) KODA. Boot camp with RJ was exactly what she (and we) needed to help give her the manners she needed and us the information and tools WE needed to understand how to work with her. Certainly do your homework as we did when looking for a great trainer, but we can tell you without a doubt, no one in the DMV area will do a better job than Zen RJ Dog Training. RJ and Crystal went above and beyond to help with my dog Noodles. He’s a severe case but they were committed to doing everything they could to help with his aggression and reactivity. We can’t say enough about the progress our Rottweiler Max made during his 6 weeks here. We will forever be grateful to RJ, Crystal, Tricia (and anyone else we may be forgetting) for the love and care they showed Max while he was with them.
